Competition Terms and Conditions

Eligibility 

The competition is open to councils and council employees within the UK, who are residents of the United Kingdom and are aged 18 years or older.  

 

Entry 

To enter the competition, participants must submit their answer to the question "Tell us how an independent mobile coverage survey could benefit one of your communities" via the designated entry method (https://streetwave.co/competition/), along with their name, contact information, and any other required details as specified by the competition organiser. 

 

Submission Requirements 

Entries must be original, relevant to the competition question, and in English. Multiple entries from the same participant will be accepted. 

 

Judging 

The winning entry will be selected by the competition organiser based on their own judgment and subjective evaluation of the entries, without relying on a specific scoring criteria. The decision of the competition organiser will be final, and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained. 

 

Prize 

The prize will be a free mobile coverage survey, the details of which (e.g. scope, duration, location) will be determined by the competition organiser after the winner is selected. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternatives. 

 

Winner Notification  

The winners will be notified by the competition organiser via email or other contact details provided by the participants. The winners must respond within 10 working days to claim the prize, and failure to do so may result in disqualification. 

 

Personal Data  

By entering the competition, participants agree to provide their personal information to the competition organiser, and consent to the collection, storage, and use of their personal data for the purposes of the competition and prize fulfilment, in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the competition organiser's privacy policy. 

 

Intellectual Property  

By submitting an entry, participants grant the competition organiser a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display their entry for the purposes of the competition and related promotional activities. 

 

Liability  

Participants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless the competition organiser from any liability, claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising out of their participation in the competition or acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize. 

 

Changes and Termination 

The competition organiser reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition at any time, for any reason, without prior notice or liability. 

 

Governing Law and Jurisdiction 

The competition shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes arising out of or in connection with the competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. 

 

 

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the participants and the competition organiser, and supersede any other agreements or understandings, whether written or verbal, relating to the competition. Any waiver or invalidity of any provision of these terms and conditions shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
